Providence again
For a third consecutive season the playoffs were played at Providence Stadium in Guyana, and for a third consecutive season Guyana Amazon Warriors lost the last match of the tournament there. The thirteenth edition otherwise returned to the six-territory schedule the competition had used before the pandemic, with matches in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.
An even season
Guyana and Trinbago Knight Riders won six of ten, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons and Saint Lucia Kings five, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots four, Barbados Royals two. It was the closest group stage the competition had produced.
Shai Hope made 491 runs for Guyana, the most of any batter, and Imran Tahir, at 46, took 23 wickets for them, the most of any bowler. Neither was enough. Tim Seifert made 125 from 53 balls for Saint Lucia, chasing 205 against the Falcons, the highest score of the tournament, and Colin Munro made 120.
The Knight Riders beat the Falcons by nine wickets in the Eliminator, Nicholas Pooran taking the award, and then beat Saint Lucia by 56 runs in Qualifier 2 with Pooran taking it again. Guyana had beaten Saint Lucia by fourteen runs in Qualifier 1, both sides bowled out inside twenty overs, Gudakesh Motie taking 5 for 21.
Providence, 21 September
Guyana made 130 for 8. The Knight Riders lost seven wickets chasing it and got there in eighteen overs, Akeal Hosein taking the match award. Kieron Pollard, who had first been named player of the tournament in 2020, was named again.
It was Trinbago's fifth title, from 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2025, more than any other franchise has won. Guyana Amazon Warriors have now lost seven finals and won one. Barbados Royals finished last in what proved the final season under that name: in May 2026 the franchise reverted to Barbados Tridents.
